TRAININGThe Reality Therapy Certification training programme adheres to the guidelines as laid down by the William Glasser Institute. There are no academic entry requirements, so the training is accessible to anyone interested. The training consists of five stages. The whole training programme takes a minimum of 18 months and it consists of a series of 4-day workshops, practical days and meetings arranged between the workshops. The structure of the training programme: The training consists of a minimum of 150 hours of contact teaching and its completion takes at least 1.5 to 2 years. The minimum length of time between practical periods and certification is 6 months. There is no maximum time for completing the programme. The Introduction to Reality Therapy is a separate course that participants can take to promote their personal growth and development. At the successful completion of the Certification Week the participants will obtain the RTC (Reality Therapy Certification) awarded by the William Glasser Institute. They will be entitled to use the designation of “Reality Therapy Certification” or “RTC”. The certification is not a licence to practice psychotherapy or counselling, but it can be used for credit transfer in several training programmes in social and health care study programmes and in therapy education. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
